As a result of the measures introduced on Monday by the Committee of Experts, banning the gatherings of 10 or more people Speaker of the Parliament Gramoz Ruci announced that the session that was scheduled for tomorrow will not be held.

Ruci says that he has addressed a letter to the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu and the Committee of Experts, to give an opinion on how the work of the Parliament can continue, while the meetings of the Committees will continue to be held online.

“Dear colleagues, pursuant to the Decision of the Technical Committee of Experts the Speaker of the Parliament decided not to hold the plenary session of the Assembly of Albania, scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2020.

In respect of the implementation of these measures, Gramoz Ruçi, called on the Technical Committee of Experts and the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Mrs. Ogerta Manastirliu, to decide on the continuation of the plenary sessions of the parliament.
