A pedestrian has been crashed to death in Devoll area in the late hours of Saturday evening near the village of Cangonj in the place called Ura e Progrit.

Police have announced that a vehicle with Greek license plates crashed into a citizen identified as Ajet Hoxha, who was on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, the circumstances of the accident are not known yet, but the police have gone to the scene and are working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.

“On 23.04.2022, around 20:25, on the national axis Korça-Devoll, near the place called "Ura e Progrit", the citizen A. K., driving a vehicle type "Opel", injured the pedestrian A. H., about 50 years old, resident in the village of Vranisht, Devoll, who consequently passed away.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action.
