A fatal accident has occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Levan-Tepelena road, at the place called "Cakran Crossing", where a car crashed a pedestrian to death. 

Official sources announced that the victim is a 75-year-old resident of Cakran area of Fier. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the "Jeep" car, a 49-year-old man, resident of Kosovo, was accompanied to the police station. 

On its part, the investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident. 

"In the early hours of this morning, on the "Levan-Tepelen" road axis, in the place called "Cakran Crossroads", citizen F. M., 49 years old, a resident of Kosovo, while driving a "Jeep" type vehicle, had an accident resulting in his death , citizen H. R., 75 years old, resident of Cakran, Fier. 

The driver of the vehicle was accompanied to the police station and procedural actions are being carried out", said the police.
