PM Promises Three New Tourist Ports in Albania

On the eve of the electoral campaign, Prime Minister Edi Rama, promised on Wednesday that three new tourist ports will be added to the country, which, according to him, will help in the further development of the maritime economy.

The first port, which according to the Prime Minister will start soon, is that of Saranda, for which, Rama said that they have received a fantastic proposal.

Meanwhile, two more tourist ports will be built, respectively in Durres and Vlora.

Further, the Prime Minister reiterated the promise that Kukes Airport will be operational in the spring, saying that "120 people will fly for free to vote for the Democratic Party."

"We will start in the coming weeks an international competition for the new Port of Durres, which will take place on the other side, where is the plan of the free economic zone. We will do the same with Vlora. The Lungomare project also includes a tourist port, which will be there to create a new contact channel with Vlora.

In a few weeks, we will be able to give all the authorizations for the start of the third tourist port, which will be the first to start, in Saranda. For this, we have received a fantastic proposal that changes the whole paradigm of Saranda.

Thus, Albania will enter the map of maritime tourism, which has been missing for decades, in terms of the maritime economy.

We believe that Kukes Airport will be operational in the spring. I have not forgotten the promise of 120 votes for the Democrats. If they follow me, I invite them to start booking a free flight, to come and vote for the Democratic Party", said the Prime Minister.
