PM Rama Inspects Bread Price at a Bakery in Tirana

Prime Minister Edi Rama has continued the field inspections, and this time he has seen closely the prices in a bakery in Tirana.

Accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, Rama said that in these moments, when the price of oil on the stock exchange has risen again, he added that the government will not impose taxes on small businesses.

"This is a difficult period for everyone, despite the wrong tendency is to blame the producers, the traders. We are in that negative, anti-capitalist spirit at the moment. On the other hand, people who have all this stress should also be understood. What we need to do is not allow abuse. The prices should be such that you do not get into trouble but make a minimum profit. But not to exploit the case as it is in normal time. So we made these boards for food and fuel. Here again, the fuel on the stock exchange has increased. We must be in solidarity and not take advantage at the expense of the people, on whom these are based.  Therefore, we have undertaken not to increase your taxes," Rama said.
