PM Rama Unveils Conversation with President of European Council

In a joint conference with the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kova?evski and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama clarified the conversation with Charles Michel, at the beginning of the EU summit, about the time available to the leaders of the Western Balkans.

Meanwhile, the Albanian Prime Minister, speaking about the idea of ??the French President, Emmanuel Macron, said ironically that they will continue the European path with the hope that in the next century they will be members.

"Michel told us we had 3 minutes available. I told him that if the situation was different, 30 seconds would be enough, but it was not enough.

It is truly disturbing that even the onslaught of a global pandemic, a tragic attack and such a threatening war that could turn into a tragic global war could not bring them together. So what do we do?

Of course we have a lot to do and on the one hand I think we have done it, and we already did it to support President Macron's idea, for a goal that is politically and morally desirable, that is the new European community.

While we will continue our European path with the hope that next century we will be members and facing a Bulgaria here and a Bulgaria there, and a third Bulgaria, we would greatly appreciate if this new European community rises to be together in a common house as a single family, despite the fact that we are on different floors but in the living room we stay together, not like this", said Rama.
