"I congratulate Albania on the steps it has taken in the fight against corruption and organized crime. Now more than ever we need solidarity and efforts to maintain the core commitments of the OSCE. I am happy to stress that Albania is fully committed to maintaining the OSCE efficiency. I am honored to stress the very good relations between our two countries. Poland supports Albania's aspirations for EU membership. We discussed with Deputy Minister Ahmetaj how to strengthen and expand our bilateral cooperation.

On his part, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmetaj said that the Polish chairmanship of the OSCE coincides with a very difficult period of deep shaking of the foundations of European security due to Russian aggression against Ukraine.

"The role of Albania during this period has been comprehensive. We have called for an end to the war in Ukraine at all costs, for the withdrawal of all Russian troops, and for an end to the killing of civilians. The war in Ukraine is a war for peace and security on the European continent", stated the Albanian Vice PM.

Furthermore, Ahmetaj stressed that Albania will continue to pursue an active policy and guided by the goal of Euro-Atlantic integration as well as a deeper economic integration throughout the region.

However, the Polish Minister has started a tour of visits to the Balkans, starting from Albania.
