Korçë police have managed to arrest two people, because, in cooperation with each other they deceived the citizens, in order to obtain certain monetary amounts.

According to the police, it is suspected that the two citizens, among other things, took from a person the amount of EUR 5000.

They cooperated with each other by deceiving other people, in the cities of Tirana, Korça and Përmet, in order to benefit money from them. One of the detainees is suspected of having committed 5 other cases of fraud in Tirana.

“The services of the Korça Police Commissariat, following the work to apprehend and bring to justice the wanted people, made possible the detention of the citizen E.J., 36 years old, resident in Shkodra and M.T., 26 years old, resident in Trevllazër, Vlora.

The citizen E. J. was declared wanted for the criminal offense "Fraud" committed in collaboration, as it is suspected that through fraud, he took from two citizens in the city of Korça, the amounts of EUR 1800 and ALL 800,000. The Police services have ascertained that this citizen was driving the vehicle without a driving license.

After the verifications, the citizen E. J. was declared wanted by the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, on 18.02.2021, for the same criminal offense.

While the detention of the citizen M.T. was done after the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Përmet has ordered his detention, for the criminal offense "Fraud" committed in collaboration, as it is suspected that he took from a citizen of the village of Petran, Përmet, through fraud, the amount of EUR 5000.

Further procedural actions in this case are being carried out by the Përmet Police Commissariat,” it is written in the police announcement.
