Preliminary Results of Kosovo Parliamentary Elections Released
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has published the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections in Kosovo, with the vote count still ongoing and only a partial number of ballots processed so far.
According to official data, the Self-Determination Movement (Vetëvendosje) has emerged as the clear frontrunner, leading the race convincingly with 47.12% of the votes, equivalent to 72,737 votes, maintaining a significant advantage over other political parties.
In second place ranks the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 19.33% or 29,842 votes, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in third place with 13.68%, translating into 21,122 votes.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) comes next with 7.70% or 11,884 votes, followed by Srpska Lista with 4.59% and 7,079 votes. The Social Democratic Initiative (Nisma) has so far secured 1.82%, corresponding to 2,806 votes.
