President Attends Ceremony to Honour Dibra War Victims
Invited by the Dibra community, the President of the country, Ilir Meta, has participated this Tuesday in the celebrations organized at the Palace of Culture in Kamza, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Dibra war.
As he shared on the social networks photos and videos from the festive ceremony, Meta emphasizes that the war of Dibra and the glorious battle of Lana-Lura, play an important role in protecting Albanian lands from the cruel Serbian invaders.
According to the president, the victims of this war prove that there is nothing more sacred and more precious than the Sovereignty, Integrity and Independence of Albania.
"It is a special honour and pleasure to participate today in the festive meeting organized at the Palace of Culture in Kamza, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the heroic War of Dibra and the glorious battle of Lana-Lura, for the protection of Albanian lands from cruel Serbian invaders.
Today this event is a source of inspiration for all of us and especially for the younger generation, which keeps alive the traditions of the ancients and their unforgettable memory.
A century later, the manliness, bravery and heroism of the patriots of Lura and Dibra Region, proves to us that there is nothing more sacred and more precious than the Sovereignty, Integrity and Independence of Albania, for which so much blood has been shed and so many sublime and innumerable sacrifices have been made.
"Eternal memory of all the patriots of Lura and Dibra, who led by Elez Isufi saved the borders of Albania!", wrote President Meta.
