The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, together with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani have honoured the heroes of Kosovo this Monday. 

Through a post on the social networks, Meta said that the Heroism and the most sublime sacrifices of the nation's martyrs will always unite us to work for the good of Kosovo, Albania and all Albanians everywhere. 

"Today in Junik, together with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, we laid a wreath of flowers and bowed with the deepest respect before the work of the Hero of Kosovo Edmond Hoxha, martyrs of this prominent patriotic trio witnessed for centuries. 

Much blood has been shed for a free and independent Kosovo to arrive on this day. The heroism and the most sublime sacrifices of the nation's martyrs will always unite us to work for the good of Kosovo, Albania and all Albanians everywhere, especially to educate children and young people, with a sense of patriotism in defence of freedom, the independence and sovereignty of our countries", wrote the president.
