Partizan Bengaj, the father of late Sabrina Begaj's, has filed this Friday a lawsuit at Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK), against Prosecutor Clirim Sina and judge Piro Sota, as well as other officials who enabled the release from prison of the murderer, his former son-in-law.

The family of 23-year-old Sabrina Bengaj, mother of a little girl, wants to bring justice to the end. Sabrina's father, Partizan Bengaj, has stated that he will sue in SPAK those who enabled the release of his daughter's killer. 

"I am authorizing the lawyer to represent in SPAK to denounce all those involved in the release of my daughter's killer", Partizan Benga noted at the doors of SPAK. 

In his testimony through an apology letter but also the confession of the crime, Elton Metaj accused the father of his ex-wife as the cause of the event, articulating that he had fired the weapon, but the murder was committed by Partizan. For this but also the accusations of Elton that the ex-father-in-law threatened him, Partizan says that in that period in question he was in Italy and the accusations are totally untrue. 

The lawyer of the Bengaj family, Saimir Vishaj said that the whole file will be studied to see all the responsibilities. "It is a very serious event. We will see what we will do after looking at the whole file," Vishaj said. 

Sabrina Bengaj was executed with a Kalashnikov 1 week ago by her ex-husband Elton Meta. This murder brought problems in Albanian justice to light after Metaj, although he terrorized the Bengaj family for more than 5 hours a year ago, did not spend a single day in prison, as the judges did not sentence him to a single day in prison, but hospitalized him in Zaharia prison hospital. From there, just a few months later he was released with the argument that he would continue the treatment at home. The decision was made by judge Piro Sota upon the request of Prosecutor Clirim Sino, it is reported. A few months after gaining his freedom, Metaj killed his ex-wife at the latter's house.

On September 10, 2021, Sabrina Bengaj, 23 years old, was shot dead at the door of her parents' house, situated at Zhupan village in Fier, after her former husband, Elton Metaj fired a hail of bullets on her. The couple was separated and the victim had received a protection order. However, the state institutions failed to protect her from the anger of the 32-year-old man who considered the weapon as the only solution to his disagreements with his former wife.
