Citizens gathered this Monday on the six day of protest over the price hikes and they presented three ultimatums to the Prime Minister, Edi Rama. Unanimously they required a soon as possible the total removal of the VAT for fuels in Albania, temporary suspension of oil excise as well as the adoption of the law on living wage.

They gave time to Premier until Friday to fulfil their requests otherwise he should resign as Premier.  

"The deadline to fulfill these 3 requests is until the end of the week, until 18.3.2022. The non-realization of these converts into the resignation of Prime Minister Rama," was the statement of the protesters.
