Saranda police have arrested Saturday two other people who committed theft and robbed vacationers in the coastal city during the summer season. 

The following citizens were handcuffed: 

- Andon Qurku, 38 years old, resident of Saranda, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Theft" in the Albanian and Greek state. 

- Renato Vezelaj, 45 years old, resident in Tirana, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Theft". 

Investigations have shown that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, are suspected of being the perpetrators of 3 thefts that occurred during the tourist season, in the city of Saranda, namely: 

1. On 08.06.2021, these citizens stole a sum of money and a watch in the apartment of citizen A. B. 

2. On 13.06.2021, they stole a large amount of money and some jewelry in the apartment of the citizen E. B. 

3. On 08.09.2021, they stole a large amount of money and valuables such as rings, watches and pendants in the apartment of citizen B. A. 

These citizens are suspected that after committing the thefts in cooperation with each other, they immediately left in the direction of the city of Tirana, where some of the stolen items were sold to the jeweler of the citizen S. V, while the rest were kept hidden in the apartment.
