The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated that several ministers of the government's cabinet have submitted their resignations because of the meetings with Charles McGonigal, the former FBI official who is accused of receiving Russian money. 

In a statement to the media, Berisha asserted that he has documents for these resignations, while he asserted that in the following days he will release the names of the officials. 

"I say to Rama, go away, resign with your rotten cabinet. I know that there are ministers who have submitted their resignations, because of the contacts they had with McGonigal, but if it comes to the open representative of Russian interests in Slovenia, this is Damian Gjiknuri.

Asked if he was aware of the fact that some of the ministers have resigned and what are the names of the ministers, Berisha said: 

"I have authentic documents for what I said, but I will make them public in real time, I have indisputable documents."
