Shkodra Police has seized this Friday 139 kg of cannabis, while a 42-year-old woman was handcuffed. 

Mariana Vuksanaj, a resident of the village of Jeran, was arrested as part of the police operation codenamed "Jeran", to crack down on criminal activity in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants, and her husband, Gjovalin Vuksanaj, 55, was declared wanted. 

During the operation, 139 kg of suspected cannabis plants, 132 suspected narcotic seedlings cultivated in vases, 63 electric bulbs, other material bases that served for the cultivation of cannabis through electric bulbs, and 1 vehicle were seized. 

Also, during the operation, an illegal electricity connection was found in this apartment. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodra Court of First Instance, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" committed in collaboration, "Cultivation of narcotic plants" committed in collaboration and "Theft of electricity."
