A gunshot wound occurred this Thursday morning around 07:10 in the village of Luzhe in Tropoja.

It is learned that the citizen Izet Ahmati, 46 years old, wounded with a firearm the citizen Bardhyl Kolbiba, 39 years old.

Immediately after the event, the police handcuffed 46-year-old Ahmati. According to the "blues", this is an instant conflict for no apparent motives.

Also, as material evidence, a knife was seized, with which it is suspected that at the moment of the instant conflict, the injured threatened the perpetrator with a knife, and then the conflict escalated into the use of the weapon by the 46-year-old.

“On Thursday, around 07:10, in the village of Luzhe, as a result of an instant conflict for no apparent motives, the citizen I.A., 46 years old, wounded with a firearm the citizen BK, 39 years old, resident in Luzhe, who was transported at the Tropoja hospital and is out of danger for life.

Police services immediately went at the scene, which thanks to quick and professional actions made possible the capture and handcuffing of the perpetrator, citizen I. A., who was hiding in an abandoned apartment on the outskirts of the village.

Police services have made it possible to find and seize the weapon of the crime, a Kalashnikov with a comb with ammunition.

Also, as material evidence, a knife was seized, with which it is suspected that at the moment of the instant conflict, the injured party threatened the perpetrator with a knife, and then the conflict escalated into the use of the weapon by the 46-year-old.
