Involvement of girls and women in the decision-making bodies and the next parliament of Albania remains a priority, stressed Vice Chair of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) Erisa Xhixho Sunday.

Her party believes that Albania can be developed and the society emancipated only by the inclusion of women and girls in political, social and economic life. Xhixho made these remarks after meeting with the women of the municipal unit no.1 of Ali Demi area in continuation of the election process in SMI.

“Our plan for woman's economic empowerment supports women entrepreneurship with favorable policies, cooperation with private enterprise to stimulate with fiscal policies the employment of as many women in the private sector as possible, also the facilitation for access to loan lending.

The economic empowerment of women means at the same time the development of a better society and solution of social problems. I believe in the strength of the union of women and girls on April 25 to build the Albania of our children together”, underlined SMI’s official.
