Socialist Discusses EU Talks with Romania's Speaker of MPs' Chamber
Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party (SP), Taulant Balla is paying an official visit to Romania on Tuesday, where he was received in the Romanian Parliament in a meeting by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu.
Through a statement on the social networks, Balla stated that Romania, as an EU member state, and Albania, as an EU candidate country, consider it essential for the region to accelerate the process of membership in the European Union of all Western Balkan countries.
During his visit to Romania, Balla is being accompanied by MPs Jurgis Çyrbja and Ilir Pendavinji.
"Bucharest, Parliament of Romania - Meeting with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu. Romania, as an EU member state, and Albania, as an EU candidate country, consider it essential for the region to accelerate the European Union membership process of all Western Balkan countries", stressed Balla.
