SP Assembly Gathers Today, New Ministers' Names Expected

The Assembly of the Socialist Party (SP) will be gathered this Thursday. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Palace of Congress. 

It is expected that today Prime Minister Edi Rama will announce the ministers of the new government, of the third term. So far, Rama has announced that the Minister of State for Relation with Parliament will again be part of the new Parliament. Taulant Balla was also confirmed again as Secretary-General. 

The meeting will start with the approval of the agenda, while Prime Minister Rama will take the floor immediately. Also, today the Socialists will elect the new Steering Committee of the party, as the current one's term of one year has ended. The political leaders of the districts and the party's executive secretariat will also be elected. 

Agenda: 

Pursuant to the Statute of the Party and the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of the National Assembly of the Socialist Party Article 4, the Secretary-General convenes the Meeting of the National Assembly with the following agenda: 

1. Opening of the meeting and approval of the agenda. 

2. Speech of the Chairman of the Socialist Party Edi RAMA. 

3. Election of the new Steering Committee, political leaders of the regions and the executive secretariat of the party.
