The leadership of the Socialist Party met this Wednesday afternoon and the focus of discussions are the candidacies for President of the Republic, but also the Assembly of the Socialist Party, which is expected to convene this Saturday. 

The SP Assembly will ratify some of the statutory changes and will also approve the termination of the mandate of the current chairmen of the SP branches in the 61 municipalities of the country and will continue with the new process. 

Discussions on the selection of the new President of the Republic are also expected in this Assembly.
