Special Forces' Bomb Specialists Investigate Astir Fire's Site

New details have been made known regarding the fire that engulfed the block of flats in Astir area in the early hours of this Tuesday morning, where eight residents were injured and four vehicles were burned.

According to the preliminary expertise, it is suspected that the fire was intentional, and that the target was one of the four cars parked in the garage of the apartments' block, which is owned by the brother of the businessman and builder Sino Llanaj, Dritan Llanaj, also the owner of the apartment's block.

On his part, Sino Llanaj is a known name for the police and has been arrested several times, while the cause of this event is suspected to be the Llanaj family's conflicts over property issues.

Renea's anti-explosive experts were also called to the scene to verify whether or not the Range Rover vehicle where the fire started was set on explosives or fuel.
