Up to 2 Million Afghans on the Border with Greece - Secret Report

A secret suggestion of officials, which predicts the arrival of even 2 million Afghan refugees to the Greek border, was given into the hands of the Prime Minister, a few days ago.

The suggestion reached the office of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, before KYSEA, which had been convened a few weeks ago in order to discuss a new crisis in the immigration, according to exclusive information of the “NEW Weekend”.

According to the report, this report, which was listed as “top secret”, analyzes the data that will emerge in the coming weeks, and after the Taliban are well established in power.

Proposals and estimates for the refugee wave reach the end of the year and the numbers shocked the government camp.

The good script

According to the good scenario, about 1 million refugees will arrive in Greece, hoping to cross into Europe, who will be forced to leave Afghanistan after the Taliban take over.

These are mainly families but also Afghans who either cooperated with the previous regime or are afraid of the next day in their country. And especially for the civil war that some believe is at the gates with the Taliban and so-called Islamic State (ISIS-K) fighters preparing to settle accounts.

The bad scenario

The bad scenario, however, doubles the number of refugees and migrants moving from Afghanistan to the west, according to the report.

The suggestion to the Maximos Palace, however, also speaks of the penetration of dangerous jihadists in Greek territory, and consequently in Europe. In other words, potential terrorists who will take advantage of the refugee flow and will be able to cross the European borders.

In the exclusive information that came to the knowledge of the “NEWS”, there is also talk of another dangerous verse contained in the presentation.

The Prime Minister, the competent ministers and the heads of the Army and the Security Forces, also read the forecast for an “explosion” of the refugee-immigrant, towards the end of the year, that is, around Christmas.

At that time, data analysts estimate, there will be migratory flows from the land borders, ie from Evros. The region is expected to receive suffocating pressures, similar to the 2015 refugee crisis.

Fears for a hot episode in Evros

The same publication also states that the government has been informed that in the period from December to January-February, when migration flows are estimated to increase, no one would rule out a “hot” episode with Turkey on the Greek-Turkish border in Evros.
