The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has congratulated the United States of America on Independence Day. 

Through a post on social networks, Veliaj writes: "Happy July 4 - Independence Day of the United States, as well as the 100th anniversary of our diplomatic relations." 

On the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of relations between the United States and Albania, Tirana has hosted numerous festive activities.
