Vice director of Elbasan Hospital and an official were convicted Monday, on the charge of abuse of office. 

Sources inform that the deputy director of the Hospital, Anila Ballhysa, who was also the chairperson of the Tendering Commission together with an official of this commission, are accused of abuse of office. 

Ballhysa and the hospital official awarded the tender for oxygen during the Covid period without competition. The case was tried in SPAK, which sentenced the former deputy director of the Elbasan Hospital to 6 months in prison, as well as 3 years to not have the right to exercise any function in the Public Administration.
