'No More Than 100 Serbs Will Participate in North Kosovo Elections'

President of Serbia, Aleksander Vu?i?, estimated that no more than "100 Serbs" will participate in the April 23 elections in the north of Kosovo.

According to him, people from West are wrong, because they think they can force the Serbs to want an independent Kosovo, forcing them to participate in the elections.

According to him, no one will go out "to the police containers" to vote. He said that "Serbs will survive in Kosovo" and that "they will continue to love the only country they have, which is Serbia".

On Sunday, April 23, early local elections are held in the municipalities of: North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Zveçan and Leposavic - all populated by a Serb majority.

Lista Serbe - the largest party of Kosovo Serbs - has refused to participate in them and has called on citizens in the north to boycott the process.
