Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared the news that the Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH) will start the production of electricity from the photovoltaic plant of Vau i Dejës. 

Through a post on the social networks, Rama stressed the need to be able to generate energy by alternative means, in order to create energy reserves, independence and security in a situation where the war in Ukraine has created insecurity in almost the entire the world. 

"The Albanian Electricity Corporation will start producing electricity from the photovoltaic plant of Vau i Dejës, the first realized project of this type in our country and in the region. 

Alternative energy sources from solar panels and floating photovoltaic power plants are a new way to create security and energy reserves," he wrote.
