World Down Syndrome Day, QTU Communicates Through Actions and the Language of Inclusion

On World Down Syndrome Day, QTU has chosen to remind visitors and the community of the importance of inclusion and support for people with Down Syndrome.

On March 21, which reminds us that an extra chromosome is just one more reason to embrace uniqueness, QTU is sharing strong messages about awareness, acceptance, and love. At the center, a unique installation has been set up where all passersby, visitors, or employees can leave their handprints in the symbolic colors of the global campaign, they can paint or write encouraging messages for people with Down Syndrome.

The social activities undertaken by QTU are supported by the Mane Foundation, which, under the special care of its founder, Mr. Samir Mane, centers its contribution in education, environment, cultural heritage, as well as in the health and well-being of special social groups.

As part of World Down Syndrome Day, the QTU staff has joined the “Multicolored Socks” campaign by Down Syndrome Albania, which supports children with Down Syndrome with therapeutic services. “Multicolored Socks” can be found at the Okaidi store in QTU, which invites you to become part of the initiative.
