More vaccines have arrived in Albania this Friday. It is learned that 25 thousand doses of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V have just been delivered to our country.

The news is given by the Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social media. Rama stresses that the vaccination rates will continue to increase, reaching the target of half million vaccinated people in the first part of May.

"Another 25 thousand doses of Sputnik V vaccine arrive. Vaccination rates will continue to increase and the target of 1/2 million vaccinated by May will be reached in the first part of the month. No time to rest," writes Rama.

Since the start of the vaccination process, a total of 453,255 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, of which 353,491 jabs for people over 60 years of age.
