The Albanian capital hosted one of the world’s most prestigious international forums, the FII PRIORITY Europe Summit, held for the first time in Tirana on May 16–17, 2025. This summit brings together global leaders from government, business, science, technology, and philanthropy to discuss the global priorities shaping the future at a pivotal moment for humanity. The main theme of this European edition of FII PRIORITY is: “Prioritizing for a More Sustainable, Equitable, and Prosperous Future.”

Samir Mane, President of BALFIN Group, was the only official representative from Albania invited to participate in the discussion panels alongside some of the world’s most influential figures. He took part in the main panel titled “Board of Changemakers: Can Capital Connect a Fractured World?”, sharing the stage with international leaders in politics and finance.

During the summit, Mr. Mane held meetings and exchanged views with high-level personalities such as Matteo Renzi, former Prime Minister of Italy, Bernard Mensah, President of Bank of America International, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, CEO of Alstom, among others.

His participation in the summit as a regional business voice highlights both his personal leadership and the growing importance of the Western Balkans in shaping Europe’s future development and beyond.

The FII PRIORITY Europe Summit is part of a series of global forums that promote cross-sector dialogue and encourage concrete action to address today’s most urgent challenges, including climate change, sustainable development, and technological transformation.
