The General Directorate against human trafficking and illegal immigrants has developed an operation throughout Albania that ended up with 26 arrest warrants, among them even police officers.

Albaniandailynews.com learned that the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for the citizens: Endri Seiti, Luan Tafalla, Endrit Ismailaj, Arnol Shpata, Xhuljeta Çopa, Artur Mata, Antonio Specchio, Artan Sulaj, Luan Sulaj, Shkelzen Matmuja (Bokciu), Bukurosh Muja, Lulzim Lami, Tome Preka, Xjulio Krasniqi, Edmond Baklli, Iglan Alliçi, Emmanuel Ella, Commissioner Altin Hasani, Specialist for the Sector for Foreigners in the Department for Borders and Migration in DPPSH, Commissioner Edmond Barha, head of the section for irregular migration in the Directorate for Tirana Border and Migration.

Meanwhile the measure 'House Arrest' was assigned for the inspector of Rinas 'Airport' Ariel Hoxha, while the obligation to appear has been assigned to Inspector E.H. police officer.

The operation has been extended to several cities of the country, mainly at the border points, but also in the areas where they cross the intercity road.
