After five years in Spain where he has been active in the ranks of Real Sociedad and Sevilla, Adnan Januzaj is very close to transferring to Turkey to the Istanbul Basaksehir team. 

The few minutes in the Andalusian team force the footballer of Albanian origin to leave, even though he has a contract with Sevilla until 2026. 

However, the fact that he is outside the technical project (125 minutes in all competitions, no matches as a starter), makes Januzaj think about an adventure in the Turkish Super League through the loan formula.

The contract is in the final stages of concretization with the Turks who have expressed their willingness to pay the full salary of the 27-year-old until the end of the current season. Currently, Basaksehir are third in the table with 40 points and are aiming for a place in the European Cups for the next edition, with Januzaj seen as an important element to achieve the objective.
