Albania Endangered by Monist Power's Installment; Berisha

Former Prime Minister and Head of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha has gone this Friday to Shkodra to honor the uprising of Postriba, from where he declared that 76 years ago Shkodra and the north were occupied by the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, but that nowadays Albania is in danger from the establishment of monist power, in the hands of a cub who has no morals, nor honor and who robs the citizens.

During his statement, Berisha emphasized that the offices of the notorious Yugoslav service, which robbed and exterminated the nationalists of Shkodra and the north, were located in Shkodra.

Furthermore, the Former Prime Minister accused his successor Edi Rama of using every disaster against the citizens to oppress them, steal more.

"76 years ago, they decided to respond with armed resistance, with an uprising, to a barbaric invasion that would be installed in Albania on November 28, 1944. This invasion for the Albanians was twofold in those years. It was the invasion of the establishment of the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha and I remind you here, I remind the Albanians that the serial killer who commanded the partisan hordes that flooded Shkodër and the north Mehmet Shehu would write to Enver Hoxha that in the military sense, Shkodra we put under occupation. He says an undeniable truth, but the citizens of Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe, Dukagjin and the North considered it to be such an invasion. But besides this invasion, Shkodra, Albania was in a second invasion.

Father Zef Pllumi describes November 28 in the change of symbols, the national flag was removed and the Yugoslav flag was installed. The offices of the notorious Yugoslav service were located in Shkodra, which robbed and exterminated the nationalists of Shkodra and the north, convinced that they would not accept the barbaric Serbian occupation of Albania. In this context, the Postriba uprising, the first anti-communist uprising in Europe, was an uprising for freedom, of patriotic patriots who wanted an Albania free from the communist dictatorship and their Yugoslav masters. Today we honor the heroic work of the men and women of Postriba. Many of them were executed with or without trial for the sole fault of fighting for freedom, entire villages were burned, over 1,000 or so residents were exiled to black camps.

But today again, after 76 years, Albania is in great danger because it experiences the establishment of monism, of the power of one party, concentrated in the hands of a cub who has no morals, no honor, nothing that steals and robs the citizens and this is Edi Rama. Use every misfortune towards them to crush them, steal more. What did he do with COVID, he took out the tanks, on the other hand he stole taxes day and night and the mortality rate of Albanians skyrocketed. With the increase in prices, he earns hundreds of millions, he cheats them with crumbs. Today again Postriba is in danger, Albania is in danger.

We will protect their ideals of freedom and that we will protect Albania from this hostile, savage, thieving regime that is destroying the Albanian being every day. I invite you to continue our resistance until the final overthrow of a fierce enemy called Edi Rama", said Berisha.
