Albania Is Planning to Get 40.000 Employees from other Countries

Albania is planning to 'import' 40.000 employees from foreign countries.

In a discussion between Minister of the Economy and manufacturing groups, on the problems of lack of people to work, ministry unveiled the negotiations done to solve this problem.

"The Ministry is making good efforts to absorb quality employees from the foreign market. We are negotiating with a contract with a country that has very good, professional workers, which includes tourism and clothing industry why not," said Albin Gega, General Director of Employment and Vocational Education at the ministry.

It was learned that the arrival of these foreign workers will be from a country whose individuals have not previously used Albania as a transit route to Europe. In this regard, citizens from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and India are automatically excluded, according to a memo from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while one of the countries being discussed for admission is the Philippines.
