Albania, North Macedonia with Highest Level of Deports from Germany
Germany deported 6200 asylum seekers during the six months of 2022. Most of them were from Albania and North Macedonia. The news was made public by the German government in an answer to the opposition party.
According to the written answer, 450 people were deported to North Macedonia, 400 to Albania, 400 to Georgia, etc.
While in Kosovo, Germany deported 130 asylum seekers.
The last plane with Albanians to deport landed on August 24 in Rinas Airport. On 2020 Albania ranked on the first place for the number of deports from Germany.
