Albania Presents Tighter Rules for Christmas, New Year's Eve

Health Minister, Ogerta Manastirliu says the country will go into stricter rules for the next 10 days. She informed that starting from 24 December to 4 January national lockdown will begin at 20:30 to 06:00 am.

Non-essential shops, bars and restaurants will all be closed at 8:30 as no one will be allowed to leave home if not an emergency.

Restrictions will be in force only during holidays foe Christmas and New Year Eve due to fears for a possible surge in coronavirus cases.

Minister calls to all citizens to avoid unnecessary movements in order to control the virus spread.
