A 27-year-old citizen was found dead on Mount Morava this Wednesday night, marking the first victim due to cold in Albania for this season. 

Sources confirm that the citizen is a Syrian immigrant, about 27 years old. It is previously suspected that the victim died due to low temperatures and snow while walking to cross the paths. Police are at the scene, while forensic expertise is expected regarding the case.

Korça / Preliminary information 

On 08.12.2021, around 21:30, in the area of Morava Mountain, above the village of Dishnica, Korça, by the services of the Korça Police Commissariat and the Special Forces "Shqiponjat", was found dead, without signs of violence, a citizen still unidentified, who is suspected of being from the Middle East. 

The investigative team is working to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
