The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, gave explanation Thursday in Parliament, during an interpellation, why some officials benefited by the amnesty, when the government said this is not possible.

Democrat, Enkelejd Alibeaj, said that 16 officials condemned for corruption, were released due to the amnesty, asking Minister Manja why he did not made consults with the justice structures over this issue.

But according to the minister, only 8 former employees of the state, not high officials benefited.

According to him, those who benefited are normal people, employees not high officials condemned for corruption.
