Ana Brnabic Receives Confidence of Serbian Parliament
Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabi?, has received the confidence of the Parliament of Serbia to govern for another term.
During the swearing-in ceremony in the Assembly, after receiving the new mandate, Brnabi?, together with the ministers, swore that, among other things, they will protect Kosova within Serbia.
"I swear loyalty to the Republic of Serbia and I solemnly pledge to respect the Constitution and the laws, to carry out my duties as a member of the government with responsibility and dedication to the preservation of Kosovo within the Republic of Serbia", it is said in the text of the oath according to Serbian public broadcaster, Gazeta Express broadcasts.
Brnabic, who is seen as a puppet in the hands of President Aleksandar Vucic, has said that her new government will face greater challenges than imagined. She has cited the war in Ukraine and the economic crisis as some of the biggest challenges.
Her government will consist of 28 ministers, while Ivica Dacic has been included in the government again, becoming deputy prime minister and minister for foreign affairs.
