Appeal Chamber has announced on Thursday, February 16, 2023 the decision to uphold the confirmation in office of the prosecutor of Durrës, Enkeleda Osmani (Dzhengo), dismissing as unfounded the claims raised by the Public Commissioner, Florian Ballhysa, who requested her dismissal. 

The decision was taken by the panel of the College chaired by Rezarta Schuetz, with rapporteur Albana Shtylla and members Natasha Mulaj, Mimoza Tasi and Sokol Çomo. 

Osmani was confirmed by the Independent Qualification Commission in July 2020, but the decision to confirm her was appealed to the Appeal Chamber by the Public Commissioner, since according to him there was not enough evidence that the income of the husband declared in the annual statements was from a source legal.
