Applications for the National Agriculture Support Scheme 2024 are open starting from March 27.

The news was made public by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, AnilaDenaj.

In a post on social networks, Denaj said that "every farmer, cattle breeder, and beekeeper can apply for support in the National Agriculture Scheme 2024 through the e-Albania portal".

"The team of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is ready for any question or help through Agropoints or in the Regional Agricultural Extension Agencies near your area," said Denaj.

Applications will be open until April 19 and will be able to benefit individual farmers, groups of farmers, natural and legal persons, and Agricultural Cooperation Societies.

At the beginning of this month, the government approved the National Agriculture Scheme for 2024, with eight support measures with a value of Lek 3.4 billion.

The National Scheme currently goes to production and this scheme helps the direct costs of farmers to enable economic income.

Applicants in the groups of the Union of Farmers will benefit first and each of them will take into account the amount of financing at the maximum level, aiming at the realization of the same agricultural product, towards the same market and the same production protocol.
