Elbasan Police has found and seized this Thursday 4 Kalashnikov firearms, 3 pistols with silencers; 2 remote-controlled mines, ready to be activated for explosion by remote control, via mobile devices; detonator capsules; a quantity of "C4" explosive; 4 mobile devices and a significant amount of armor-piercing combat ammunition.

During the police action, Luis Gaxhi, 37 years old, born and resident in Elbasan, convicted of criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, in Belgium was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Providing the conditions and means to commit murder", "Possession and production of combat weapons in large quantities" and "Illegal possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition". 

Furthermore, Rigers Spahiu, 37 years old, born and resident in Elbasan, was caught for the crimes "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth" and "Supporting the author of the crime", as he is suspected of being an accomplice in the criminal activity of the citizen Luis Gaxhi.

On a press statement following the bust, the Elbasan Police Director, Ardian Çipa, informed that remote-controlled weapons and mines would be used for the execution of persons, on account of criminal groups identified by the Police.
