Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has shared a message on social networks. Berisha has published a video with his statement, after declaring his return on September 9 last year, when Lulzim Basha expelled him from the parliamentary group. 

While claiming that he will be in the race to take over the leadership of the party, the former prime minister says that even if there is only one left in the DP, he will be one of them. 

"There is only one left, I will remain one of you! Long live the Democratic Party!", noted Berisha.

The Democratic Party is trying to unite, at a time when Lulzim Basha resigned and the court certified the Assembly of December 11. The removal of the blinds that were placed due to the January 8 protest has also started at the blue headquarters, while the parties have stated that they are in talks. They say unification is necessary, but no results have been achieved yet.
