Ex-Prime Minister Sali Berisha responded to American Ambassador Yuri Kim who stated that a person designated by US cannot fight corruption. (read also)

Berisha described Ambassador's statement as a service to Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing that this is an attempt to cover up his publicly denounced corrupt affairs. 

Furthermore, Berisha invites the FBI and other US institutions to start investigations into the activities of the ambassador in Albania. 

"Dear friends, Governor Yuri Kim, in an attempt to do one last service to Edi Rama, spoke today as if McGonigal was speaking. But with her declaration about fires and arsonists, she actually tries to hide her publicly denounced corrupt affairs, but also other affairs. 

I invite the inspector general of the State Department, the FBI and the US Congress to investigate the corrupt affairs of Governor Kim, including her properties in Albania. The Democratic Party, as it is today, is ready to contribute to this transparency", noted Berisha.
