The Bank of Albania suspended the activity of two companies of microcredit "Perlat” and “Rrushkull One”.

The decision was taken due to repeated violations identified in these companies.

In the decision of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania, it is stated that the company "Rrushkull One" made incorrect reports on the financial statements and did not report in the loan register or take measures to avoid money laundering.

According to the Supervisory Council, this entity violated the law on the prevention of money laundering, as it did not receive information on the source of the clients' income, did not analyze their profile and did not monitor the transactions carried out.

The decision also states that this entity did not report transactions with physical money over ALL 1 million within the deadlines.
