Britain a Strong Supporter of Kosovo; Cameron Says
"We are strong supporters of the independence and sovereignty of Kosovo", was one of the messages that the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, David Cameron, gave during a media conference this Wednesday from Pristina.
Cameron, who is in Kosovo since Wednesday, declared that Great Britain supports the aid and promotion of Kosovo.
The British secretary emphasized that the meetings held also discussed economic issues and the fight against corruption.
"I am here to support, promote and help Kosovo in all ways. We will continue to support Kosovo, you have had challenges in corruption and economy, but the main challenge is to build a state that is safe for all communities in Kosovo. We will definitely help you," said Cameron.
Cameron said that Great Britain is proud to support Kosovo, underlining the fact that 600 troops of their army are deployed there.
"We are proud of the fact that Great Britain has an important role in KFOR, we have about 600 troops deployed in Kosovo, we are proud to be supporting and training your army", added the British diplomat.
