Business Requests New Fiscal Package for 2025

The Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with various business associations, has submitted a joint request to the Albanian government for a fiscal package for 2025.

In a statement to the media, the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry announces that through this request, greater support for entrepreneurship and increased competitiveness in the international market is intended.

The document was signed by the Builders' Association, the Albanian Agribusiness Council (KASH), the Milk Processing Industry Association (IPQ), the Albanian Tourism Association (ATA), the Albanian Food Industry Association (AFI), and the Medicinal Plants Association. They have presented to the government some concrete proposals for improving the fiscal conditions and facing the challenges that the enterprise is going through.

Under these conditions, the associations request that the government set up a joint working group with experts from the private sector and institutions responsible for the economy to address these issues and prepare a fiscal package that supports the sustainable growth of the Albanian economy.

The request also emphasizes the need for greater stability and predictability in tax laws, requiring that the legal changes of the Fiscal Package be clear and consistent for the period 2024-2027, without unexpected interventions that could damage business planning.
