The branch of the Democratic Party of Vau i Dejes has proposed a candidate from the Primaries process to compete in the May 14 local elections. 

It is about the MP of the Democratic Party, Zef Hila, who received the consent of the democrats during the process of the "Primaries" held in 2022. 

The DP branch adds that it will forward the proposal of Zef Hila to the head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Enkelejd Alibeaj.
PD post, Vau i Dejes branch: 

"After being informed by the head of the branch Mr. Gentian Ndoj on the discussions held by the College of Chairmen on March 6, 2023, and following the discussions held, the Headship of the DP Vau i Deja Branch fully supports the call of the governing bodies to come up with a joint candidate in the local elections of May 14 2023. 

Taking into consideration the statement of the chairman in office Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj that in this process both the candidacies from the primaries organized in 2021 and the primaries organized in 2022 by the Reestablishment Commission will be taken into consideration, we find that the MP of the area Mr. Zef Hila, is the only candidate that has received vote support in both of these processes. 

Therefore, on behalf of DP Vau Deja, we express our full will to support Mr. Hila as the joint candidate of all the democrats of Vau Dejës for the May 14 local elections. Due to his contribution and support in the area, we are convinced that Mr. Hila is a winning candidate. 

The Chairmanship of DP Vau Deja will forward this proposal in writing to Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj, Mrs. Jorida Tabaku and Mr. Gazment Bardhi, as representatives of the governing bodies of the DP. We remain convinced that the will of the leadership structures of DP Vau Deja will be respected, in function of the victory of the municipality and the unification of the democrats.
