Cocaine Trafficking Group Hit in Greece, 5 Albanians Arrested
The Greek authorities in Corfu have hit a cocaine trafficking network, where ten people have been arrested, 5 of whom are Albanian citizens. According to the Hellenic media, a police officer is also among those arrested.
Meanwhile, the "head" of this criminal group is a 38-year-old Albanian man together with a 45-year-old woman, against whom a criminal complaint has been filed for the creation and management of an organization for the purpose of cocaine trafficking.
Co-accused, for participation in the criminal organization, are 9 other members, among them 3 prisoners with different roles as transporters and collectors - while the file also includes 26 other people, who bought narcotics from members of organization.
As part of the investigations carried out by the police, a pistol, the amount of 5600 euros, a quantity of cocaine, 2 cars and 8 mobile phones were found and seized.
