Combating Crime and Corruption, HPC Head Receives Dutch Ambassador
The Head of the High Prosecutorial Council, Gent Ibrahimi, received in a courtesy meeting the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Albania, Guusje Korthals Altes.
The meeting took place at the premises of the High Prosecutorial Council, where the Dutch Ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Rogier Nouwen and Legal Adviser Hemion Braho.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands expressed her appreciation for the work of the Council, while praising the Justice Reform process, emphasizing the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in consolidating the new justice institutions in Albania.
Ibrahimi expressed his gratitude for the contribution given by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the further development of the reform and assured the full support of the institution he leads in strengthening the rule of law.
Head of the High Prosecutorial Council, Gent Ibrahimi expressed confidence that in cooperation with international organizations and missions, SPAK and NBI, as two key links in the investigation and criminal prosecution of organized crime and high-level corruption, will soon reap the fruits of the work done so far.
